How to prevent sunscreen from burning my face?

Posted on 03. Aug, 2010 by .

I have a very sun burn prone face. It is also very sensitive to sunscreen. I currently use Aveeno face sensitive skin 70, and I’ve used Neutrogena sport face 80. These are both fine when applied, but when I reapply an hour later/after reapplication after they burn like hell. This occurs when I am at the pool. So sun and chlorine is also a factor. How can I prevent the burning/redness that occurs and still protect against sunburn? Help please!

What is the best sunscreen to use on a tattoo?

Posted on 18. Jul, 2010 by .

I am taking a vacation in which I want to wear tank tops. This exposes tattoos that are not normally exposed to the sun. They are in great shape and I would like to know which sunscreen I should use that would provide the best protection for these tattoos against the sun, that will protect from the sun yet not harm the tattoo’s color in any way.

I want to talk to you about this genetic defect we call Fibromyalgia. I am a patient of Dr. R. Paul St. Amand, but I am not affiliated with him or the Fibromyalgia Treatment Center. I have spent too much time in pain and lost too much of my children’s lives from Fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue syndrome. I am actually getting better from the Guaifenesin Protocol, and I feel like someone validated my illness and gave me my life back. I want to pay it forward by encouraging people suffering from this to look into what Dr. St. Amand has to say. I’m not an expert in this, yet! I just feel the need to advocate this protocol and hopefully someone will try it and realize what I have learned. In response to the first comment: This is true, The FTC does approve Tom’s of Maine fennel. It also approves Burt’s Bees Orange Wow toothpaste which contains Aurantium Dulcis (orange) Peel oil. Many medications are delivered sublingually (under the tongue) for fast absorption. If Salicylates absorb through the skin and mucous membranes, I personally wouldn’t risk it. If my lipgloss has to be sal-free, I’m buying a sal-free toothpaste. It is also true that some Fibromyalgics are “sal-sensitive”. In other words, will block on something that most others wouldn’t. It usually takes these people years to figure-out they are, because they are clearing too slowly or have reached a plateau after several years, but are still symptomatic. Since I originally made this video for my mother and cousin to teach

Does anyone know any good SUNBLOCK (not lotion) thats not greasy, non-comodegenic & good for sensitive skin?

I went to the dermatologist (I’ve had bad acne and take Retin-A-Micro) and she said always wear sunblock, not even a sunblock lotion, or daily moisturizer because it wont do anything. I just feel like all sunblocks have that smelly, greasy feel to them…any suggestions helpful!
